would have built the Colosseum,
there would have been
the Union of Quarry Workers,
the Association of Stone Carriers,
the Cement and Concrete Mixing Group Bargaining Unit,
the Guild of Woodcutters,
all with paid vacations,
sick days,
statutory holidays,
pensions.
Luckily,
there were emperors,
slaves.
