In a televised leaders’ debate,
the niqab becomes a hot-button issue.
Good arguments on all sides.
I listen carefully,
wondering if I would have continued watching
had the moderator appeared
with her face covered.
And whether I
– or anyone else –
would even have the right
to see her face?
